be very comfortable with fabricating parts (i.e. cutting off their stock water hardline, dremeling plenum bridge, etc...). I was not expecting to have to do any of this. Besides this though, yes they are plug and play. And the alternative is machining your lower plenum to accomadate the injectors in the stock rails. Also, please consider that I also did all the plenum deletes, and much of my confusion was caused by figuring out where to run the new waterlines and rerouting vaclines, finding replacement hose, etc... While the instructions are quite comprehensive, they do leave a bit to be desired. I think they could be more detailed on how to connect to stock parts without running the risk of fuel leaks, what hose lengths to cut, suggestions on where to relocate stock regulator and damper, etc... to eliminate the trial and error or "mystery" aspect of the installation. More pictures would be helpful too. I know personally it was the little things that caused me problems, for instance connecting the -AN6 Russel Twistlok hose to the -AN6 fittings (one of the reasons I highly reccomend buying one of the hose kits). There is always a learning curve, and things are difficult when you have no experience. You are bound to make mistakes, but hopefully you learn from them. I have very little experience working engines, and I don't claim to be any expert. If I had to do the job again, of course it would be much easier. I am just saying that this is a fairly significant job for someone who has only ever changed their oil and bolted a few parts on before.
